Isla Mujeres vs Puerto Morelos Diving

I am a big fan of Wet Set Diving in Puerto Morelos. I have dove with them about 14 times. Love the reefs and C56 wreck near Puerto Morelos, and Wet Set also arranges Cenote dives - I really enjoyed the Tajma Ha cenote. If you plan on doing a lot of dives they will setup a tank bank for you which gives you local pricing on their tanks. They also have great rates on Nitrox.

Between Isla Mujeres and Puerto Morelos for diving there is no real choice.

PM will always be better. Cancun, close to PM has some nice dives but regularly strong currents. Do not go to MUSA, waste of time and money.

In PM there are several shops (including ours), all relatively small compared to Cancun and Playa del carmen. Do not go with the shops in the resorts, they are expensive and possibly dangerous.
