She will be...... She's got a couple confined water & the open water dives to go!!! She finally got tired of not seeing me on the weekends!!
I'm looking forward to it!

Sometimes it feels like I am in a beginner's class again with her, and some days it is very scarey but I guess it is the price you pay to dive ;) You do what you have to do, and I love to dive so that is what I do.

got certified all the way up to DM with her.
its really great cos i know her so well that and am most comfortable diving with her as a buddy.
although i hate it when we have disagreements underwater.
"you rolled your eyes at me when i showed you that mantis shrimp?" " dont look at that girl taking her wetsuit off" "dont go so deep" "wait for me!!" "wreck schmeck, look at the cute boxfish" "this waters too cold" "are u ignoring me?" "will u carry my tank, weightbelt?".
but i wouldnt change her as a buddy for anything. its incredible to be able to share a beautiful such as diving with your other half.

My wife is my dive buddy. I became certified in 81', after 2 yrs of photography ( underwater) , she became cerified in 85'. There were times she would snorkel above me and say "I did'nt see that". after she would see the pictures. So there is hope for all you guys with a spouse that doesnt dive. I wouldnt want it any other way. :)

Hubby is my dive buddy but he is much more advanced and has other dive buddies for the dives I am not yet ready for.

My wife is my usual dive buddy. We do go diving with others as our schedules conflict somtimes. I have encouraged her diving with other buddies from the beginning. Hopefully creating a self reliant diver. She did rely on me a bit in the beginning but now will tell me off if need be. ( in her eyes anyway)

The whole family was certified last year. The wife and I were certified in Feb, and then I just had to get the kids certified in Sept. Now they too enjoy the wonders of scuba. I have taken each of them out as a buddy. The youngest was the strongest from the beginning (15 at the time). The oldest a close second (20). Now I am going to get flammed. It seemed to me that the girls did a lot better at most of the skills than my son did (19).

With any luck at all I will be able to dive with them all for years to come. Sometimes life is just grand!!!

My wife is my dive buddy provided we're diving where the water is warm. She doesn't fancy cold water at all so in the UK I have to find someone else. Nonetheless it's good fun to dive together and share the experience.

My hubby learned to dive and was great at it considering he has the hydrodynamics of a brick! However, he experienced ear pain on a dive and found out that after that, he got ear infections everytime he dived. So he stopped.

On the upside, it forced me to go out and find new buddies.

My wife is a dive wimp, warm water and clear. Even though she's been certified since '85 and used to be my buddy, now only when it's just right...:mean:

My wife is not a diver. It works out well because if we do everything together, what the hell would we talk about?
