DIR- Generic Is this sub-forum still active?

I think it’s opt in, which really lowers the traffic. Wish it wasn’t, it’s good to be able to talk with folks curious about the methods and debate their merits.

While the trolls were an issue the bigger problem was the fly by idiocy pitched as dir advice in the pre opt in days. I was off the board for over a decade. I assumed that the dir discussions had just moved to another forum.

...I know things were super contentions back in the day particularly around the "DIR" moniker. Though I have been out of the scene for a while, I suspect either people don't know about this stuff or don't care anymore.

I'd be surprised if anymore poo flinging threads would erupt for this topic these days.

It's just anywhere now.
