Is this backplate acceptable for Hogarthian Diving?

Mine is machined by a fellow diver and I use regular weightbelt-material for the harness...
I´ve found that only having tri-glides at the shoulders allow for instant adjustment of harness length but that the stiffness of the webbing prevents it from slipping when you don´t want it to...
Most of the "brand setups" have tri-glides at the waist as well, which I don´t have a use for so I don´t...
 
How is yours machined? Was it purchased machined or did your buddy do this himself? Can you take a couple of photos of your plate and harness and post them?

I have a DR SS plate, my harness is weight welt material and I don't use any tri-glides! It just isn't that easy to adjust for different layers of diving? It is kind of a PITA.
