It's for my crotch strap rear D ring. In the pic I loosened it up to better see what i'm talking about but the D ring is between two pieces of webbing vs. being between the middle tribar and the webbing. Is the SOP to require that the dring be mounted in a way that it pulls into the tribar vs. just into the webbing? At a minimum, I'm going to move that dring behind the first piece of webbing (Not sure why I didn't do this to begin with) My chest D rings are threaded the way my crotch strap currently is but I am curious. Another thing I'm sort of concerned about is that I have two different tribars on here. One is thicker at 75 thou. but the openings are not wide enough to double up my webbing through and back. The one that is wide enough (Attached) 42 thou that is large enough to pass the webbing over and back feels a bit thin and the middle tri bar can be bent w/ my hand which doesn't give me the warm and fuzzies.

Originally that 75 thou. tribar was securing the dring and the 42 thou just retained the excess webbing from my crotch strap. I figured I'd consolidate if I don't need both. Or if nothing else, I may retain the excess w/ inner tube.

Opinions?

Thanks
Dave
