Guy just asked me to decide because "he has another buyer willing to pay full price." I passed on it. Thanks for the input everybody. I'd definitely like to buy new, but I think I can get more features for my money if I buy used.
What are some regs you guys would recommend that I look at that are "entry level?" I'd like to get a full setup for under $400...

no such thing as entry level when the hollis/hog regs or the dive rite ones DGX sells are only 200. you can get a full setup going for 350 for a 1st, 2 2nds, and spg. used gear sometimes can be even cheaper though. i bought a set of used rental regs off my LDS (yoke titan/at20/sm36) as my first set because they offered me a good deal with a new zoop. ended up selling the zoop, but the titan still ended up pretty cheap in the end because I spent less than 160 after getting cash for the zoop.
