Never have dove Rocky Point - but from Yuma, San Diego is just 3 hours away, Ensenada Mexico takes about 5. If you have your own boat - ensenada is the place to go. Great Island dive - Santo Tomas out from Ensenada. The only place I have dove around Yuma was Senators Wash. Did it in the summer water temp about 80. No need of wet suit, vis about 7 ft. Never went again.
