Is the the Light Cannon that much better than the C8?

Can anyone tell me what the battery charge life is on the uk c8 when using the battery charger pack? Thanks!

It's over 3 hours, and it comes with the 18w or so bulb, totally worth it if it's all you can get.

Yes, UK CANON is much better in my opinion. It is HID light. You can notice the difference definately. One drawback of UK Canon is its battery consumption. So, I bought the rechargable batteries and recharger. The rechargable battery only lasts the half of the ordinary Alkaline battery though. At least, it lasts one good night diving.

edit: Aahh. I see the 18.5 w is not the led version. SO, is the LED version brighter than the non led version? ANyone know how long the battery pack charge lasts on the led version?

The other way round, the non-LED version is using xeon bulb, about 2.5 higher overall output (lumens),

There is a high/low beam selection: low 31.2 w, high 20 w.

I own a D8 (used to be my main dive light), bought a LC. I do ALOT of night diving, is there a difference ??? the LC blows away my D8 hands down.

LC = Lighter than D8
Better Light, stronger, lasts longer
LC takes a beating just as my D8 does

For the money, it was worth every penny for a handheld unit.

I know u were talking C8, but the D8 is it's cousin and thought I'd throw in my 2 cents.
