Is the sewage malfunction at Kelvin Grove real?

my last dive there was late last year.... and I remember what I have to guess was primary treated sewage (tampon, condoms, plastic bags and rock bits PHYSICALLY screened & removed, everything else just suspended and flushed)

The small fish were going NUTZ... reminded me of neurotic Caribbean damselfish in how they were pecking away at us. since we were on a night dive with out out time of approximately 21:40, I just chalked it up to the rick people flushing their s**t (which of course does not stink) and not indicating...

Hindsight on that dive says I'm glad we didn't get sick... Maybe if they are fixing the system, then they will take out the [diver] motion triggered flush mechanism??
