hi there all

I'm looking to buy a SM 26 or a SM 36 for my standard 200 bar tanks, and I can only find the SM 36 at my favorite dive shops online.

All sites inform me that the SM 36 is suited to 300 bar tanks, but can it be used for 200 bar tanks as well?

Thanks for the quick reply!

The scale is just smaller - the needle won't swing in as big an arc on the SM-36 than the SM-26. I had the same trouble tracking down a SM-26 sometime ago, and gave up. It's still perfectly readable though on the lower pressure tanks, just not optimal.

I now prefer to use a heavier OMS brass gauge, but still keep the plastic SM-36 around for (eventual) use on a deco bottle.
