Look at what the advertisement says: "The Scott® Sigma 2 is a SCBA set giving the same high levels of respiratory protection as the Contour, but has been packaged to provide a simple and effective solution for use in industry, shipping and other non-fire fighting environments." Notice that scuba is not included. Diving with water pressure brings requirements that systems that work on the surface cannot meet.

As for the mask, while there are full face masks that are used in scuba, they are also highly specialized.

No, these are not designed for underwater use.

Many thanks! ;) A have this one at home, decidet to try, because i cannot find any restriction in mannual. But is it possible to make any reconstructions, to be able use for underwater?

This is where common sense should come in. Since it wasn't specifically designed for underwater, life-support use, don't use it underwater.

I assume you have no diving training, so I will take a few minutes to explain one problem.

When you are under water, the water pressure affects your ability to expand your lungs and inhale. In order for a regulator to work, it has to be able to give you the air under a little more than the water pressure at your depth. To give you an idea what that means, you cannot inhale through a tube if you are lying at the bottom of a pool in 4 feet of water. A scuba Regulator is designed to adjust its pressure continually to meet the demands of the depth. A regulator designed for the surface has no such need and is therefore not designed for that. A regulator that does not increase delivery pressure as you descend cannot deliver air below the immediate surface.
