The passengers and crew could be all vaccinated but it sounds like they're doing ports of call, which basically exposes them to unvaccinated persons.

Last year, the longest hospitalized person with Covid in San Francisco was finally released. In the story, they detailed that he and his wife had traveled to South Africa, UK, over three months, then back to the US. The husband was infected. The wife didn't and tested negative.

What “didn’t” the wife do?

Not authoritive because clearly untrue. Breakthrough cases are extremely rare in the UK. More similar to the US. ~10k/>100m.
Applogies for the late reply, but Covid is no longer the number 1 topic in Europe (at least until July 11st). I found the error of my remark: A PHE report reporting that around 4% of people hospitalised had been fully vaccinated; between the report, the media and a translation into my nativ Germany it became the "break through rate".

Remember when Florida got tired of Covid and just decided it was over? How are they doing now compared to, say California, which just reopened today?

Good question.

Ontario just came out of a "Stay at home Order" that has lasted more that 2 months. As of yesterday, the province took the first steps toward re-opening. I am scheduled to get my 2nd vaccination next Saturday, and while nothing is perfect, there is definitely light at the end of the tunnel.

I am hoping that be fore long, I will be able to trade this mask:View attachment 664908

in for a mask more like this one:

I traded my muzzle for a dive mask last June (2020). We just got back from a beautiful vacation to Curacao on Tuesday. The diving and the people were incredible. Fear is the only thing we have to conquer.

I am about ready to go for a run. I will do my stretching exercises. I will do 60 curls, 60 pull-ups, and 60 push ups. I ate relatively healthy while in Curacao. I only gained 1/2 pound there.

Lose weight, get fit, and go diving. Dam(n) the C-19! If I can lose 20 pounds from one year ago so can you. My T-8 federal physical exam was a smashing success. Best numbers I have had in many years.

I am alive again! Fear and constant fear porn from Karen's has got to end! Fauci was not the science, Farr's law was the science. I fear The Warp Speed experimental vaccine, but I got jabbed anyway and it almost killed me. I overcame my fear of the experimental vaccine and survived. So can you.

Go diving people, go diving!

cheers,
markm

I have spent three weeks in Florida over the last year. I just got back on Tuesday. Florida is great. Floridians got outside in the salt water and salt air and lived their lives. Their data is some of the best in the country. They relied on peer pressure and it worked well. Personal responsibility works, if you let it.

Thank you Florida for helping me cope with C-19!

cheers,
