Is a SK8 compass puck compatible with a DSS mount for a SK7?

My SK7 compass' card came off the pivot and has defied all my efforts to get it back in place.

I still have the Bezel and the DSS mount for it. If I purchase an SK8 "bare" puck, can I re-use the bezel and DSS mount?

Here is a strange way to get the compass back on the pivot. Drop it from about a couple feet, face up, or shake it around rather vigorously. A couple of mine have come off the pivot and using these techniques is how I got it back on the pivot.

FYI, don't leave the compass facing down when not in use to prevent the compass from sliding off the pivot.
