Try this: Matrix - ITA Software by Google:
Check "see calendar of lowest fares" after you put in your dates etc. to see what is currently the best deal. You can also limit parameters in the search results such as connections, total flight duration etc.

They won't have any specials until the airline releases them though.

It's just a database though, you can't boot thru it.I usually just note the flight/price and call the airline.

The same info is used on Google Flights with booking options. They should have everything to Bonaire.

Checked into flying out of CHicago instead?

If only. The lowest fare I have seen for the ATL-BON flight is around $850. There is some fluctuation, but it's usually upwards from there, not downwards. Upper $600s would have to be some kind of sale price.

We booked back in January I think. Depending on the week it was ranging mid 600 to mid 800. I believe the weeks surrounding July 4th were the most expensive. We were somewhat flexible so we settled on the cheaper end. Keep in mind this is not just that one flight; we are originating in Florida. I have heard some being subject to the "captive hub" price if you are buying the ATL-BON ticket standalone. Not sure of that is a factor here or not.

Yes, that's exactly the problem living here in ATL and trying to fly Delta. If you fly, say, MIA-ATL-BON, and I fly ATL-BON, I pay on average a couple of hundred dollars more to sit on the same plane as you between ATL and BON.

Thanks for all of the help. The delta flight only has about 45 minute connection time in Altanta and I am not comfortable with that. I am looking at June 17 - July 9 (3 weeks in Bonaire ... I can't wait!!).

I will try the "trick" of Tuesday morning and clearing my cache.

Thanks again!
And check right around 1 month out from your departure date on a Tuesday.

It's a game of cat and mouse to buy tickets... Grab a ticket price you can live with and pull the trigger... Then stop looking at them... LOL.. You may feel better if they go up... But, You'll feel like a jerk if they go down..

Jim...

Jim...

Stop looking at the price, but don't stop looking at your seat assignments! I caught a change last week. I had booked last Oct for this May. My 2 seats together row 15 had turned into 1 row 36 center and 1 row 37 center!!! Row 37 being the very last row in front of the bathrooms... There was another seat in row 37 next to the other available otherwise upgrade to economy plus. I called them and he wanted to put me in the the other row 37 seat. I figured given the events of last week that they might actually be trying to make folks happy so I pushed it a bit. Somehow he managed to get us 2 together much further up. My apologies in advance to whomever he bumped from my fight ;)

Sorry for the hijack... Back on topic, I use my chase united card points for the flight. 70k for the 2 of us.

!
How odd. Before I saw what you were actually doing I checked delta from Jun 10 -17. $840. And the flights on Jun 10 had a 1:15 layover.

They change feeder flights fairly often. Last year i had an hour and 15 minute layover, they bumped it down to just under an hour.

They then let me switch it to flying in Atlanta the night before. No charge. A friend of mine on the same flight tried to make the same change. They tried to charge him $400.

No need to clear cache...just open a private / incognito (or whatever your browser calls it) window.
