or you could just not invert them? since there's no reason to and it presents all the problems you encountered (and people told you you would encounter)

Where's your sense of adventure?

You guys crack me up, when's Moe gonna chip in? :shakehead: I'm still getting over the custom hose lengths, hose routing and other "problems" I was going to encounter and the ease of reaching the isolator I didn't. The net is full of half truths passing as fact so what's it hurt to actually look at a problem. My ideology isn't threatened by it - is yours?

If it's not your thing and you're not interested, why troll the thread. Why not go offer non DIR solutions in the DIR sub forum (oh sorry, I forgot you don't like that sort of thing). Funny how standardization doesn't apply in this regard.

Where's your sense of adventure?
They haven't been issued it yet from headquarters for this activity. They only have a finite amount so they have to ration it carefully.

yes you can deploy the hose but how much length do you have while horizontal?

yea you can dive that way, just not with me :). and I don't think either of us will be too broken up about that.
I think this would be better in the advanced forum than this one. you would probably get more responses to your liking over there.

as far as the DIR solutions comment, i've tried to stay out of this one for the most part just for that reason. anyhoo, dive safe.

I don't really have a "liking" here as I'm not even a proponent of this system. I just decided to try to seperate the wheat from the chaf.

i just say that because the ones that said it was a bad idea, and explained why, you seemed to dislike.

The gear supports adventures, its not an adventure by itself in the living room. (yanno in the water not here internets diving :D)

Actually, good job :) IIRC (I'm not going back through the whole thread) the OP was an "isolator first" kinda guy. You pretty much confirmed that with inverted tanks you can't reach the isolator. I think that pretty much says it all right there.

8 hours in a cave within the past 2 weeks....0 hours spent configuring gear. There's my sense of adventure :D
