Hello Scubaboarders,

We have published two new interviews from Eurotek 2008.

Terry Fisher
After 11 years of production, the APD Inspiration has become the most used rebreather in the world. Terry Fisher, APDs chief engineer, has been with the company since the beginning. He started out as a tool maker, and has followed the development process of this success story up close and personal. We asked him the most important question of all: is rebreather diving safe? How can we improve on safety and avoid problems? And where do CCR divers mostly go wrong?

Teresa Telus
Teresa Telus is one of the few leading female deep CCR divers in the world. She has participated in several deep wreck expeditions, such as the Brittannic, diving down to 120 meters, and having runtimes of up to 6 hours, or the HMS Vandal, a submarine at 100 meters, where the visibility was only 1 meter. She has also visited the HMS Russel in Malta, where she had to take care of tying in at 112 meters.

Teresa has recently come back from an expedition to Truk Lagoon, where together with her partner they filmed some deep wrecks. She explains us how she handles all the equipment on such dives and how she has claimed her place as one of the very few deep female CCR divers in the menÃÔ world of deep wreck diving.
