Why would anyone want to do that? It happens often enough when you miss your connection to Cozumel, can't get seats into Coz, etc.

I always do trip insurance when leaving the country mostly for medical coverage and emergency return possibilities, and nag my daughter to do the same for her family. It really paid when my granddaughter lost her passport in China. You never want a claim, but if you get sick or hurt, good to have. I've also used it when I got stuck in Roatan on 9-11-01, and the time I should have canceled for Hurricane Dead, but at least go away after a few dives.

We have DAN med....try to purchase trip without med! Impossible...I have three medical plans that they all can fight over for their % if neeeded.

Different thread.

No Chit!

Fly to Coz a few times, and you'll experience Cancun at times when you miss your connection. Weather happens all over the US. I've done it dragging 2-50# bags plus roll-on & backpack to my dentist office there, too. Good, cheap dentures. I just wish his office was closer to the parking lot.

I don't know what that is. My DAN dive insurance will cover getting me back dead or alive, but they aren't divers. Still, I take trip insurance for the medical coverage mostly.
