Has anyone on this Board spec'd out the large red silicone O-rings? They seem to run $11-$20 each

I think in this forum last year someone was trying standard 251 O-rings - but no word on test results.

Thanks

EDIT: I thought the red O-rings might be JIS (Japanese Ind. Stdd) versus AS (aerospace stdd) - since that seems to be what is used for the small black o-rings.

At the following site: http://www.afmusa.com
I saw the following for AS and JIS

JIS B 2401 C1280G O.D. 5.039 Diam 0.140
JIS B 2401 C1320G O.D. 5.197 Diam 0.140
JIS B 2401 C1360G O.D. 5.354 Diam 0.140

AS568-251 O.D. 5.109 Diam 0.139
AS568-252 O.D. 5.234 Diam 0.139
AS568-253 O.D. 5.359 Diam 0.139

Someone might be able to measure the red o-ring size exactly or find out what its JIS or AS size is [I can only estimate]. Once the size is known perhaps we can find a vendor(s)?

If anyone has some old ones (the large red size) kicking around, I'd be glad to send them in to a couple O-ring places (there is one south of Seattle, where I live) and get the exact specs. I am reluctant to take either one of mine very far away from my housing.

Please PM or send to your favorite O-ring vendor for size info.

Thanks

Keep in mind that the old red ones (silicon) have probably stretched a bit.
