The position of a lot of those ships seems to be incorrect. If you want a really good map of the ship wrecks in the Great Lakes then have a look at http://www.underwatercouncil.com/downloads/OUC_Dive_Ontario_Directory.kmz. This is a Google Earth map, so you'll need to download Google Earth as well. This map is on the Ontario Underwater Council website. It has over a hundred shipwrecks, a few dozen shore dives, boat launches and other things in it. If you float over a ship wreck image it will give you THE GPS coordinates. With them and a finder you should be able to find the wrecks.
