I wonder if there is a condition under which a wetsuit is compressed to the extent that it is negative. I suppose it could be possible.

In theory there's some point where it becomes negatively buoyant. In reality I doubt it ever gets compressed to this point. I just have trouble seeing a wetsuit ever getting compressed to the point where it's heavier than water.
