Bob, I'm curious about the quoted instructions, which I assume are from SI TECH.

Does this SI TECH pee valve screw together like other exhaust or inflator valves which just need a sealant under the outer flanges or is this one different?

Can you explain why using RTV sealant would be a problem with this SI TECH pee valve? Do the two halves of the valves connect together less firmly?

TIA. :)

Dave, I have just put a SiTech Pe Valve in my wifes dry suit to go with her She-P. The Si-Tech has a very large rubber gasket for want of a better word that is glued to your suit. The valve itself fits though the gasket and by screwing the two part valve in very tight, as it has a knife edge on the inner part, it seals well. The beauty of the Si Tech is that you can remove it to clean it, or adjust the position. It is only this gasket that is glued in.

Unlike my Halcyon that the entire body of the valve is glued in........ still prefer my Halcyon though!

Cheers

Rainsey
