I DID IT!!!

The answer to the valve seat riddle was so obvious it's painful. If you want to make a small custom donut-shaped regulator valve seat, why not start with.........a large regulator valve seat? Duh.
Nice work!
I'm tempted now to resurrect my 2100B... I even had a stainless collar made up after my plastic one cracked like all the others but then ran out of other spares so its still in a shoebox somehere.
Any idea on sizes for the various body o-rings?

I think both 1st and 2nd stages are standard o-ring sizes, at least that's what I've used. I didn't note the sizes, but I can check if you can't just match them up.
Yes, just crimped. Getting it off is harder to describe than do, but I'll try
...
As mentioned above, do this inside a baggie or you'll never see the cup again.
When I finally move out of my garage, I'm expecting a bonanza.

There are 3 o-rings, as shown below. Sizes are 22.7mm, 20.5mm and 9.75mm.

Thanks... o-rings are usually specified by ID x cross section.
Not sure if Ralph Osterhout used Metric or Imperial sizes with Tekna?
As a US company its likely the o-rings were specified to AS568 standard (much of SCUBA equipment was designed to this standard)

Going by that chart, the closest I get is (left to right in the pic above) 018, 017 and 010. Actual measurements were:

.76 x .075
.69 x .07
.26 x .06

Note: I only measured one set, and these are ~35 years old.

They're all 1/16" cross section. The small one is 011 if I recall, same as your reg hose ends. I can check the others tomorrow. There is one or two large ones in the purge housing as well.

Sorry, I forgot about the purge assembly. There's one o-ring there, measuring 1.32 x .07. I believe it's number 027 in the AS568 chart, but I'll let the experts weigh in.

It looks like I got lucky and measured them correctly at 018, 017, and 010, according to the chart below.

The Tekna regulator design was granted US Patent 4,219,017 on August 26 1980... interestingly the two co-inventors listed are Ralph B Shamlian and John D Burr.
