Hello guys,

I'd just like to know what first-stage regulator for inflation (suit/wing) you use in deep diving (100m/330ft plus). I've been using the Scubatec mini piston first-stage which is a common one for inflation up to 100m/330ft and it works fine. However, I was advised that they may not be very stable at depth given it's cheap and simple......

Do you suggest a better first-stage like Scubapro MK11 or Apeks XTX40 that are breathable at depth?

Scubapro mk2 is solid.

Beware of 200b DIN fittings (like you have pictured). They won’t fit on 300b DIN valves.

I never have issue with my Scubapro mk2 evo.

I am using a Mk20 (upgraded to Mk25) that I got off ebay for cheap.
