Indonesia Visa Info

Hello everyone I'll be in Sipadan next year
I would like to know if you can apply for Indonesian Visa in Tawau city and then take the ferry or plane to Tarakan (Indonesia)
I have an Italian passport
Has anyone done this trip lately?

Are you traveling from Scuba Junkie ? If so I would ask them because they offer this or very similar. Indonesia as I’m sure you know has considerably relaxed it’s rules about entry via its major hubs eg Denpasar , not sure about this one though.

You won't need to apply for an Indo visa for Italian passport. It should just be flying in/ferrying in and get a tourist visa stamp for 30 days at the port of entry immigration counter.
