thanks Paul, we are likely to spend 1 day in SIN as it's a bit brutal to fly London to Manado in one go (we travel in economy sadly)

We were also Economy. Singapore air are great through.

Singapore is V easy to get about, we stayed in Little India and a had a great 24hrs looking around using the MRT

may I ask if you have any hotel recommendation in N Sulawesi? We are currently considering the ticket to paradise option with Murax and add private boat for more flexibility

Economy with Singapore it’s more than comfortable if you are not a giant.. we do it many times in one go.. it was easy… a lot easier than the flight of 2022… Milan-barhein barhein-Singapore singapore-jakarta and jakarta-manado at 2:30am… all in one go.. we arrived in bangka really wasted… we never do it again..
if you never saw it singapore deserve more days… it’s so beautiful!
Let me know which day you fly with scoot.. if you fly scoot 6/8 and 25/8 we can say hello on the plane …

We stayed at:
Coral Eye Bangka. Loved it.
Siladen In Bunaken Marine Park. Loved it.
Then my partner went home and I added a few days at Two Fish Divers Lembeh. Loved it

I had a great range of diving and great accomodation at all of them.

The first two were more luxurious, Two fish less luxurious but I still really enjoyed it.

It's very hard to recommend hotels, as different people have different needs, expectations and budgets

Sometimes there are special offers available at dive shows/or online when the dive shows are on
UK Dive Show | #GODiving | Go Diving Show is on Ealry March in the UK
Coral Eye/ Siladen are there, so are various others from the area. NAD Lembeh, Dive into Lembeh etc

Plus Dive Holiday companies may have some offers on.

May just be easier to book ASAP as August is probably busy.

Check out Tangkoko National Park if you like wildlife and birds etc

I dived with Murex at Bangka and at Lembeh Resort the last couple of years and would definitely recommend their dive operations, very organised, safe, good guides and helpful boat crew. I've not been to Murex Manado but have heard good reviews from other guests.

We are actually hesitating between 2 options:
- Option 1: ticket to paradise with Murex at 3 locations
- Option 2: Lembeh resort + Gangga + Siladen, however this means dealing with 3 booking teams

I've not done the Murex Passport to Paradise as we have always stayed at a single resort the whole time on each trip, but having watched and spoken to other guests on the PtoP, the transfer is seamless, diving en route without losing diving day, and the guides transfer with the guests from resort to resort for continuity.

good to know that the guide can transfer with guests, as we are relatively new divers, we are looking to get a private guide so having the same person for the whole trip will definitely help
