Indonesia IDC

Hi, all. I have planning in the works for a big trip I mentioned in another thread, but I have a specific question as I narrow things down, and thought a more specific thread might be beneficial. I will be in Indonesia from mid-June to mid-August of next year, and am planning to do an IDC and IE while I'm there. There are about a zillion options and I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed. I had looked at two fish divers but unfortunately their dates don't work for my timeframe. (They're just about the only ones where that's the case which is too bad.). Any recommendations? I was thinking Bali or the neighboring islands as I've heard farther east gets more rain over the summer, but I know Bali itself may be more expensive and touristy.

I have plenty of time to decide but I'm back in one of my planning/daydreaming phases.

Hi There, if you would not find an IDC in the dates you would like in Bali or around, I would recommend to go Aussie Divers in Phuket, the owner Darren is an excellent PADI Course Director, he runs IDC every month, this is his website: www.idc.aussiediversphuket.com
He offers packages including accommodations and a few free fundives....
