I think it’s more about the vaccinated person would be “protected” from contracting the virus & that’s it. They might still affect others if they don’t follow the CDC protocols.
If I were to have the vaccines and somehow contracted the virus, I would still be wearing masks, washing my hands, etc. so I won’t be spreading the virus to others.
Actually it's not protection against getting it, it's 90-95% protection against severity. And we don't yet know of vaccinated people, who will be in large part asymptomatic if they get it, can still spread it
Vaccination is not a get out of jail free card. I don't intend to change a thing, and in fact have gotten more conscious about double masking and using a KN95/KF94 given the new variants
We are a loooooooooong way off from things returning to anything resembling normal
