The ice is gone, the boat is ready and the twins are pumped... Diving season is back in Tobermory.
I had lots of southern diving this winter in Utila and Belize, but nothing beats the wrecks of the great lakes... and diving them alone.
Tomorrow (or Saturday) I'll likely start the season off on the Arabia... a nice old two-masted barque that sunk in 1884. 110' to the mid and with a little luck, the vis should be about 100'. I've done about 400 dives on this old boat and hope I can do another 400 before I hang up my flappy things.
The water will be about 35 up top, and 39 on the bottom. I might even take my nice new camera with me.
Ain't diving great~?
