Well, everything went pretty well. Except for the fact that i am still worn out form all the diving. But it was great swimming with the fishes and octopus. I still have a lot to learn but it will come.

Congratulations! You made your first big hurdle. Now get out there and dive!

Everyone starts some time.. enjoy the awesome sport and the awesome learning opportunities here

Keep safe and Keep blowing bubbles

Congrat.s! I went to Bonaire once certified, then went back twice, and am planning to go again. Highly recommended. Remember to walk in wearing scuba boots & don't put your fins on till you're in waist-deep water, and take them off that way on your way out. Do not try to 'duck walk in' wearing fins.

I recommend you get the Nitrox certification before you go, as you'll likely be diving up to 4, maybe 5 times, in a day.

Here's one of my trip reports from Bonaire, and here's another. I liked the Lonely Planet book on Bonaire, & the Bonaire Shore Diving Made Easy book, too.

Richard.

Thank you. My girlfriend has been there several times, we just got the bonaire diving guide in the mail. We will be celebrating her 40th there. I will take the nitrox suggestion in consideration.
