I'd get full tech and full cave cert. Then a rebreather and get trained on it. Then I'd dive the the blue hole in dahab, come back to the states and dive the eagle's nest in florida, fallowed by a dive trip to antartica. These are all bucket list goals btw. Hopefully I'll be able to make them all a reality.

If money was no object, I'd start with a rebreather and the best training on it I could find. Then I'd go on "walkabout" ... after all, if money's no object, I don't have to work for a living, right?

I'd start with some wreck diving off San Diego ... then head down to Mexico for some cave diving ... from there I'd be off to the Galapagos ... then all the way south to Antarctica ... up the other side to Australia ... on to Papua New Guinea ... several weeks in Indonesia (lots of different islands I'd like to visit) ... a liveaboard exploring some of the extreme north or south (depending on time of year) atolls in the Maldives ... across to the Red Sea ... wreck diving in Scapa Flow ... up to Iceland to dive between the tectonic plates ... down to the Great Lakes for some more wreck diving ... and end it all with a leisurely cruise down the Alaska and BC coastline, stopping to explore any walls or pinnacles we came across that might look interesting. I figure that'd take me at least a year or two, and probably cost at least a million dollars ... but, if cost is no object, that'd be my round-the-world dream vacation ...

... Bob (Grateful Diver)

Well I would like to get a rebreather, the training to use it and basically go on Grateful Diver's trip. However, I would add a few weeks in Truk to finish diving every wreck in the Lagoon and more thoroughly explore the deep ones I have already been on. Maybe stops in Cocos and the Seyschelles, I would want to do all my Indonesia diving on the Damai and finally hit the California kelp forests which I have always wanted to do. It's going to cost me twice as much though because no way my wife and buddy is letting me go without her. The trip would probably kill me......but I'd die happy!

Nice... fishing for "Likes"? (It worked... ya got mine)...

Actually, not really fishing. I just know how great diving is with lots of people. Me and my friends are actually like this when we can, dragging friends out who can't pay for something when we can.

I would have bought Frying Pan Tower off of North Carolina last year when it was up for auction.

Greetings freewillie I love your question and it would be very interesting!
I would purchase a custom trailer with compressor gas blending station up through TRIMIX.
A Kiss Classic to train with and begin the adventure.
Travel the world meeting new friends and caving everywhere they would let me!
I would sponsor several classes a year for new divers to begin their adventure and follow their progress with incentives to continue training.
I would travel the world meeting Scuba Board friends and diving with them!

What I have come to learn is that we are all very rich in the relationships we have made as divers!
I love to hang out with divers and have made friendships that are a treasure.
I have been from the north to the south and connected with individuals I have met while diving or on Scuba Board!
This has become a huge part of my diving connecting with others who share my passion of diving.
It would take 10 lifetimes to travel the world doing just that!
One still would only scratch the surface.

i would train in between and during the traveling with many instructors.
Wow did not take long to get carried away huh?

Have a great time everyone and dive safe!

CamG Keep Diving....Keep Training....Keep Learning!

M1 regs
DUI TLS 350
X1 dive computer
Mark 16 rebreather
Center console RIB
Galapagos Islands (once you have good training AND experience)

Hmmm, if money were no object... I would have a pair of scubapro jets custom made to fit my feet. I would also make them black with purple hued flames just because. I like my regs, so I might buy another set of them, and maybe a custom drysuit. I like the rest of my gear. Perhaps buy my girlfriend her own gear as well. Then I would just spend time travelling, diving, seeing the world, and visiting my friends. I'm easily pleased
