I am in the process of making a sunken ship for our Scuba Rangers program here in Shreveport Louisiana.

We looked into years ago buying some islands for our swimming pool to use in our children swimming lessons, but we didn't want to spend the 500 to 600 dollars per island so we made hem out of PVC and saved about 350 to 450 dollars each.

Taking that one step further I have decided to put together a sunken ship with walls and port hole openings that will roll up as well as the inner walls to make it totally configurable.

what I am looking for is any and all ideas of what you might like to see in a project such as this.

the basic dimensions will be 20 feet long and 8 feet wide.
The ship will be 4 feet tall with no overhead which will allow our scuba rangers to just come up if they have a problem or get confused.

I figure I can make this for around 300 dollars.

It will be in two separate pieces top and bottom and I will snap in the vertical pieces when we are ready to use it.

the dimensions will allow us to use our overhead door to move the ship in and out with just one person.

Any and all suggestions on this projects will be appreciated.
