I posted this in the "Blow" thread, but here it is again. This is Ventusky's projection for Idalia. It shows landfall between Mayo and Perry shortly after 8:00 am. I'm the orange dot.

Well the eye is almost even with my home. The forecast says we will get the worst of it in the next couple of hours, likely all tropical storm or less.
 
Out into the light now...we were locked by trees and downed powerlines until yesterday.
Got some help yesterday after being persistant.
Just got power back today.

A lot of damage from me going West. My kid is 20mins East and you couldnt tell anything happened.

There is a lot of confusion to boot..information on help is not getting to those in need. SO ignored us.

In the end, we are fine..."things" can be replaced.
