I'm pretty sure this is a RockFish. It does not look exactley the same as on my Fish ID Card. Feel free to tell me if I'm right or wrong:06: . I took it last Saturday(12/11/05) off Catalna Island,CA.

Yeah, that's a Treefish which is a member of the Rockfish family.

Agreed. Looks like Sebastes Serriceps (AKA Treefish). Possibly still a juvenile.

Definitely a juvenile. Juveniles have white tips on their fins and their stripes and colors are quite vibrant. As they mature, their stripes and colors fade.
