I’m one week out from deco procedures class(in sidemount) and I finally got around to checking regs.

Both sets were sent in for factory rebuild (first one free!) last December 12/23. The regs saw one trip to Curacao and about 18 hours of use.

My finding today were IP right post low at 500 psi and adjusted. I assume HP seat took a deeper set over the trip.

The problem and question is left post post IP is correct, but creeps to 150 over 5 minutes before final lockup.

I’m trying to avoid a rebuild. I do have kits and experience rebuilding this reg. Any suggestions?

150 is too high. You shouldn't try to turn it down, however, as you risk compromising the groove in the HP seat.
If it were me, I'd rebuild it.
How low was the IP on the other reg at 500 PSI?
After a few dives, the final adjustment should be made at 3000 PSI or thereabouts.

On the other reg, the ip is between 135 and 140. Right at specs.

Rebuilt the reg. Everything in spec now. It had the older gray style diaphram. Nothing else noted. HP seat looked good at magnification.

Oh well I suppose you avoided your appointment with DandyDon and he can take a breather at the right psi

Most of the time I only do a partial what should we call it, does it even exist, repair or maintenance, just a fix
