I want a longer hose...

Since we are speaking colored hoses, I have a question for y'all. I have heard from some that the colored hoses are actually more positively bouyant than a black hose. This, I was told, is because of the rubber they are made from. Can anyone confirm this for me?

I have a TX20...

What's a TX20. Over here the basic apeks range is T20, TX40, TX50.

A TX40 is a T20 with a heat eXchanger (for cold water) and TX40 is a TX50 with an adjuster knob

Ok, all long hose jokes aside, , do most of you that use the bungee back-up use black hoses for both? I didn't know if something on my primary second/the one I'll donate in an ooa situation, should be yellow? If all hoses are black, don't people get more confused? I do not have a regular buddy so I assume this may make a difference...
As for hose length, don't we all benefit if it's longer?:boom:

Would you like to look over a DIR rig? I'm working Ocean Journey on Saturday (diving in the morning, guiding in the afternoon) and I get off at 5pm if you want to meet up somewhere and I'll do my best to answer all your questions.

I use a normal black reg and hose on both regs. Your buddy should be going for the reg in your mouth, panicked or not, so color really doesn't matter.
