I want a longer hose...

I want to take the advice of many here and put my primary second stage on a 5'+ hose, preferably yellow. I have an Apeks TX100 and I would also like to change the face plate to yellow if possible. I can't find these longer, recommended hose lengths anywhere - pls. advise!

You don't need yellow... but if you must... I have seen yellow hoses on ebay.

At the bottom of http://www.scubatoys.com/store/altair/altair.asp are good prices on long hoses.

They have a few colors.. I recommend black, but I bought a 5 foot yellow hose.

The whole color thing is overrated, just stick with what you have and get a black hose.

I just bought a new TX20 with a yellow faceplate and if it fit your TX100 then I would swap you... but I don't think they do

In order to confuse people like you...

I want to convert my regs to the long hose and necklaced backup. In that situation I will be donating my primary, and I don't want a bright yellow reg as a temptation to have someone try to rip the thing off my neck.

I agree with Jonnythan.
Scubatoys is my LDS and they have what you need and they won't gouge you on the shippng. Some things seems higher than say LP or the other major web shops, but these guys will deal. Ask for Joe or Larry if you call them. You can see them as you talk to them with their pool/store cam.
