Can I join in the fun?

O Diving Concepts, Diving Concepts, wherefor art thou trilam?
    Deny thy 7mm and refuse thy wet gloves;
Or, if thou wilt not, be but sworn my exposure protection,
And I'll no longer be a wet diver

(writen to my instructor after a lengthy email conversation about drysuits - yes I need help :11: )

Well, since we're into lyrics ... here's one I posted elsewhere a few months ago ...

I see a red wing and I want it painted black
No colors anymore I want them to turn black
I see divers swimming by dressed in their neon clothes
I have to turn my head because their snorkel glows

I see a line of fins and they’re all painted black
My drysuit came in blue I have to take it back
I see people turn their heads and quickly look away
Like a rant from GI3 it just happens ev’ry day

I look inside my mask and see the skirt is black
I see my red wing and it has been painted black
Maybe then I’ll fade away and not have to face the facts
It’s tough to find your team when their whole world is black

No more will I be seen in shades of green or blue
My gear is black till they invent a darker hue
If I look hard enough with my Salvo HID
I’ll spot blue H's on my buddy’s BCD

I see a red wing and I want it painted black
No colors anymore I want them to turn black
I see divers swimming by dressed in their neon clothes
I have to turn my head because their snorkel glows

    Hmm, hmm, hmm,...
I wanna see it painted, painted black
Black as night, black as coal
It's gotta be black, black, darkest black or I'll die
I wanna see it painted, painted, painted, painted black
    Yeah!

hahaha.... nice... here's an unfinished one:

    Divin' Techy

    They see me divin’
    They hatin’
They hate it that I’m divin’ techy
Hate me ‘cause I’m divin’ techy
Hate me ‘cause I’m divin’ techy

    My hose is so long
    I’m swangin’
They hate it that I’m divin’ techy
Hate me ‘cause I’m divin’ techy
Hate me ‘cause I’m divin’ techy

PADI guys wish they could be so lean
my wings so small they can not be seen
learned about technique from a magazine
my mask is smaller than an i-pod screen

my hands don’t move, quite the contrary
when I swim around they’re stationary
I don’t use them even when my face I bury
in three feet of mud down at the quarry

I tried to learn blending but I failed the class
still learned enough to mix my own gas
At fish i.d. I can all surpass
I can tell a flounder from a bass
