I need advice on thin booties for my wide feet

Around Christmas I was given a set of Tusa Tri Ex Fins and some Tusa booties. Unfortunately, I have very wide feet and the relative thinness of the fin foot pocket combined with the thick soled booties caused my feet to ache very quickly. To counter this I started to wear dive socks instead of booties, but this has made walking across rocks and getting out from the water during shore dives a bit of an ordeal.

Does anyone know of any booties that are thinner than regular booties but have a sole harder than dive socks?
