why do you say the can light is a trinket. It's required for gue fundies. I'll need an spg with the bottom timer .

A can light is not required for fundies unless you are going for a tech pass at the same time. Which would mean you will be in doubles and most likely a drysuit as well. It would not hurt to have a can light to learn hose and cord management while using one though.

Also make sure the gauge mode has seconds, it will make life a little easier.
