It is a Dive Rite wing "type". It does not remove from the plate. Has integrated weight pockets only. Does not come with crotch strap.

Tell me more...how do you add pocket to wet suit? I wore a skin the whole time in Cozumel on this last trip! Even that was too much material for me.

If you add a pocket to a suit, you can only use it with that suit. I have 5 different suits for various conditions.

Yes, I figured it was probably a permanent situation. Still doesn't tell me how he added his pocket. I guess you just get same type of material and sew one on? With zipper, what type of closure would it have?

You are correct don, you put a pocket on a suit it is only able to be worn with that suit. I have 3 suit, and pockets on each. It is an option and not everyone has more then 1 suit.

Pocket gets glued on, u can get them with zipper closures or velcro closure...

There are many styles out there depending on what you are doing... Dive rite makes a few, I think my 3/2 has a DR on it...

Well to answer your question, I have a 3ml which I only wear if I absolutely have to. I hate putting it on! I have a 3 ml shortie, and my dive skin. I would prefer to wear just a bathing suit most of the time...but it hurts my shoulders around my BC and not to mention stinging things down below.

Maybe look into the shorts... When I get to a computer I cld find out where to get them...and what they are called...

Mine looks closest to this one. I should have said...the wing does come off from the plate, but I never remove it. No need to do so.
