Okay...definitely spool I am looking for. Just wasn't the right symnatics being used earlier in this thread. Which can be so important in medicine and diving!!!
It was pretty easy, relitively, I dive. 3/2 in FL took a little ingenuity but took about an hour to glue, and 24hrs to cure then it is ready to dive...
Which DR are u diving? Is it a transpac?
You said u had little rings all around the "plate" is there one near the bottom? Right below tank, near your butt?

yes, well . . .
See, we may be buzzards, but dang it we are helpful, aren't we![]()
Sorry Letterboy, posts were flying so fast, I missed this one of yours.
Yes, there is a small D ring at the very bottom of the plate. Tell me again what my options are for that D ring. Either a crotch strap or spool holder?
Thanks,
Mary
Okay...I am almost afraid to ask why. I really am very afraid! If you opt for a crotch strap (and you should) go for the 2" wide version as opposed to a 1" wide crotch strap.
its ok, I was only driving 65 in the rain while typing that on my BB![]()
I would get a crotch strap for your BC, and use a D-ring on the back of the crotch strap to clip your spool and SMB off to. (does this make sense? Netmage/Chip?)
OR
as Netmage suggested, I am not sure you can is use the "plate pocket thingy" not sure you can with your setup though.
I think the crotch strap runs 10-15 bucks . . . thats probably cheaper then any of the other options right now.
