I have to admit this Chris... you have an interesting approach.

Pete is actually a mechanic in another life,
Bwahahaha! Busted!!! The first rule about me helping you with your truck is to never ever let people know I'm a Master Certified Auto Technician! :D :D :D So yeah, when I talked to Chris on the phone Sunday, he was in phreakazoid mode. Dayum. All this angst over a timing belt? I hopped in the in the van when I woke up Monday to go help my brother out. It's only an 11.5 hour drive! To quote Rocky Balboa: "Friends do because they wanna do!"

So yeah, I drove from the Keys to Georgia to help Chris out with his Ranger. I also took the opportunity to visit Deep 6 while I was there.

Thank you for posting this Pete. I found Deep 6 through SB and now I own a pair of the Eddy fins, which are more comfortable than house slippers. Don't tell anyone but I like to wear mine around the house when I can't dive. :D Had I not already had a reg set, I would have purchased mine through them as well.

I like his business model and will admit I am a sucker for supporting the little guy. Not to mention all the high praise I have heard from other members here.

On a side note, I was at my LDS last week (I will always buy things from them as I feel your LDS is a valuable resource) here in Huntington Beach, CA and I heard a customer ask them about Deep 6 as a brand. They stated they didn't know much about them but the name had been popping up in multiple conversations over the past few months and that they had heard nothing but positive feedback about the company.

So while you may be small, located in Georgia :vomit: and working hard to get things set up they way you have envisioned them, people on the West Coast are already starting to talk about you. Oh and my bright orange fins had many divers asking me questions about them when I went shore diving down in Laguna at Shaw's. I suspect it won't be long before all those fins will begin to look like your inventory of first stages.

Congrats and I look forward to watching as your company continues to grow!!

me too..but I need to order 200 pairs to have in Orange, and not in the budget yet

@PunkabillyTurk Of course, GA is better than CA! Silly people!

Now now, I have been to both. While I typically like Southerners better, Georgia can't touch the weather and much of the culture here. LOL

I'll take GA culture over the west coast any day.

Which is exactly what makes this country so great, there truly is someplace for everyone here.

The old joke was that the only good things to ever come out of Georgia was I-75 and I-95, but I guess this ol' Gator will have to add Deep 6. :D :D :D
