What do a pack of cigarettes run in your area?
$12.50- $15 CAD in Canada. Pouch of pipe tobacco-$30 (bag in U.S.= 6-8$--that's about 10-20 pouches worth).

Cigs here were 2$ when I quit a year ago, and not they've jumped to 2.5-3$

All in all, saved up around 1000$ for a year.

Well, next Sunday it will be 2 months.
And I'm still going!
And watermelon helps when craving.
Or when the neighbor smokes in front of me :(

I still haven't told my parents though.
I wan't to be stronger and more confident when breaking the news. Maybe somewhere next month or so.

when it comes to breaking YOUR habit. ONLY YOUR opinion counts. do society a favor don't be come a reborn non smoker. they are just a little behind you in making the right decision and you know how harping changed your position...

I think our cartons are about 50 a carton witht he vice taxes on them. havnt looked for years.

I think cigs are around $15 per pack here in nyc. Probably close to $20 if its a fancy place.

Nuts.

Late ‘60s, early ‘70s a pack of cigs was 45¢ at the corner Apollo gas station.

I’ve found the hardest part of kicking a bad habit is hardening the resolve to do so. After that, it’s easy. YMMV.
