I have been wanting to get into wreck diving, and thanks to all of the good folks on SBI'm going to take my AOW and take wreck diving as one of my elective courses. But I'm going to get a Dive Rite Transpac so I can use this a a wreck diving BC.I guess it would be fine for wreck diving wouldn't it?

I hear good things about that rig.

As far as OAW goes I think your wreck diving will be limited to viewing the wreck without getting entangled or otherwise in trouble. It is not a "technical" dive. If you delve further into wreck diving you have a good foundation.

The Transpac is one of the most popular rigs at the shop I go to, I haven't had a chance to try one out ......yet

The Transpac is a great setup. I dive it with the travel wing and for single tanks it's perfect. One word of advice though - buy a crotch strap with it.

Again - great set-up - easy to travel with, comfortable, adjustable, excellent characteristics in the water. I love mine.

Seen allot on the boats, personally I like them and would like to try one out one day.

I sure like mine.
