Is that first photo of the steps at Little River, completely swallowed up to the first landing?!
That's not little river, thank goodness. It's the park on the south side of 27 just as it crosses the Suwannee by Branford Fl.

Some updates... In continuing with the wall update, I also added an awning over the side door without support posts...

OWWWWWW!

I think you are better off staying in the water. Land seems to be dangerous for you.

Pete ????? from Bikini Bottom ....

OUCH!!

We were also adopted by Nuggets, the rooster. He's made friends with Tinkerbell, our polydactyl kitten, and they can often be seen hanging out or hunting together...

MURDER MITTENS!

I finally gotten around to fisxing the cement mixer. It arrived with the ring gear in two pieces, they refunded my money, but they refuse to pick it up. I did bit of creative drill and tapping, and I now have a free mixer...

I also put up a long awning on the other side. I'm going to put a slab in and put in shop air, Scuba sompressor and of course, the already existing dust extractor...

Yes, I'm planning to build a chicken coop. The poop in my workshop is intolerable. I'm going to use a car canopy as the base and build from there. I'll put it on wheels to make it mobile.

We also planted a largish garden, and I connected a solenoid vale to Alexa to enable automatic watering...

full?d=1630082712.jpg

We had some feline supervision...

This 24V solenoid was only $14 and is controlled by Alexa.

full?d=1630082712.jpg

Sadly to say, deer have eaten most of our crops. I'm going to program an ESP32 to turn on the sprinklers if/when they approach. That may not be enough, and I'll have to add lights and sound.

Well, that’s the problem.

You’re playing farmer instead of slaving away on the board.

I also did quite a few repairs to vehicles. First was my zero-turn. I finally resolved the drive belt issue by installing upgraded axle brackets and using a turnbuckle to tension the belt, rather than the original spring. After it was obvious that the belt issue was resolved, I gave it a new deck. She's a lean, mean, mowing machine now...

It used another bolt (drilled and tapped) as well is almost three times the thickness.

My nephew also blew a head gasket on his Dodge truck. It's been twenty years since I worked in automotive, and probably thirty since I did a head job. We had the heads surfaced, valves ground, replaced the timing chains, as well as the water pump. It was a nostalgic project, and I had to buy a new digital torque wrench that measured angles for the torque to yield head bolts.

A blast from the past. This is me rebuilding my '67 Ford Cortina engine in the early 70s... I'm in the bucket hat on the right and things were a bit simpler then.

Did I ever mention that I love it here? Here are some pics from February to now. Some are on my land and some of it is close...
