Sorry for your loss. Would it be possible that she jumped at a stop sign or light? We lost a kitty once that had a thing for getting in boats that were parked in our lot. Figured she found a new home when it finally stopped.

The re-roofing of the workshop is officially underway! Woot! Dan, Chelsea and I started this morning. Dan and I got on the roof and took all the tin off and started to pull the plywood off. We're about halfway through that stage with only one piece of plywood left on the port side. We decided to stop taking plywood off of the starboard side so that we don't have the rafters flopping around. Here are some pics:
Chelsea was busy, busy painting the undersides of the new OSB (plywood) white! That will brighten up the interior significantly. I'm hoping for 4 additional workers tomorrow. We'll have to do some cleanup, and then begin putting the plywood down ASAP. I hope we can finish this tomorrow.

What an awesome, awesome day. Thanks to Will, Heath, Richard and Dan for showing up and pitching in. I'm adopting Will.
Dan has been the designated cook and is doing more than his usual fabulous job. Yum. Yum. Yum.

Here are some more pics...
Interestingly enough, Will and I were able to take off all the remaining plywood from underneath in about a half hour. He used a 2x4 and I had a 2x3. It was a lot faster than we had accomplished the day before. What a core of hard, hard workers.

It's a roof! There's still so much to do, but the shell is on! Woot!!!
