I’m sure you will get the boot. They don’t staff the clubs overnight. Plan on sleeping on the floor of the terminal or getting a hotel. The latter is a lot nicer.

Except the money you save on cheaper ticket is the money you spent on hotel and transport. And a vacation day spent not diving.

We usually drive to O'Hare at night, I don't get to sleep but we can catch a 6 am flight out of ORD and get to the connecting flight on time. But I have perks: I pay less for one-way car rental than 2 bus tickets from here to O'Hare, and only about twice as much as the cab ride to the local airport.

We recently took a trip to Europe on an Aer Lingus fare via Dublin that was just over half the price Delta wanted. But we ended up with long layovers in both Boston and Dublin, during which we ate and drank a small but significant chunk of the savings. Had we overnighted in a hotel, with taxi, etc., it might have been a wash. Still, it was enjoyable for the simple reason that we effectively thumbed our nose at Delta and their outrageous fares.

LOL (Zoid, I'm laughing with you not at you :))...Rationalization is King. If you can master it, it really does lead to a happier life. Take a bow, sir. :acclaim:

If you managed to do this in Dublin, especially the Temple Bar area than it was time and money well spent.

Not Bonaire related but American was only $20 to fly into CZM over Southwest flying into CUN. Best deal I could find for the '18 Invasion.

As a comparison, Turkish Air direct from IAH to Istanbul for less than $700rt.

Delta biz out of Little Rock is usually 1050 to 1100, or 60k miles. This year, same week we always go, 2060 to 2600 or 120k miles. American it is.

Not diving related, but I am going to Nashville for a hockey tournament in May.

Flight down on Wednesday is $269, Flight back home on Sunday is $1855. Maybe i will be staying over until Monday?

We were lucky back in Nov. and booked a smoke'in deal from Alberta to Curacao on Westjet $714. Then on Insel to get to Bonaire for a small amount. It worked out well bcz we're going to spend a week on CUR after our BON holiday From where we live that is really good. Now lets see what hiccups are in store for us on the Insel segment... crossing my fingers
