One of the LDS asked me to slice the head of an AL80 tank for display in their classroom. Pretty cool to see a cut-a-way side view of a tank. Now I need to find a steel tank to do the same to see the comparison.

How about cutting a valve in half so that it fits in the tank neck?

How about the bottom? I remember the old tanks had spherical bottoms (like the CO2 cartridges). Is it really flat bottomed or is it just so it can stand upright.

I love field trips (even virtual ones.)

Question for the day: Does God love me for some unexplained reason and blessed me with a wonderful wife OR Did God bless me with a wonderful wife and, therefore, has learned to love me for her sake?

Well your question leaves me with yet a third possibility.

Is God mad at your wife? :rofl3:

All things considered, when you see the effort involved in manufacture, scuba tanks seem pretty reasonably priced.
