I can't get my Viper to Nitrox Mode. Help!

Greeting Mates,
Santa bought me a new Suunto Vyper for Christmas and I'm struggling trying to figure out how to get into the Nitrox Mode. I'm technically challenged for sure but I've spent several hours reading the manual and playing with this thing but can't seem to get there.
I'm sure its a simple step I'm missing and would appreciate some help.
I easily navigate to the 1 set dive mode. I can get to the 1 adjust mode, 2 d Alarm mode and 3 Max depth mode but for some reason I can't get to 4 Nitrox.
Where am I missing the boat?

P.S. is there a CD out there on operating this computer?

go to Set
and select set dive (press the mode button to select set dive)
now press the Time button to cycle through the menu till you see Nitrox. Then press Mode to select, and it will give you the options to change O2% and PO2. Leave PO2 at 1.4

You have to get used the menu system of the Vyper. Remember to read the small LCD display just to the left of the Mode button. Sometimes this display says "select" and sometimes "quit".

The Plan and Time buttons work in tandem to cycle up and down the menu choices.

Once you're Nitrox certified you can leave the Vyper always in Nitrox mode and just set O2% to 21 when using air.

Also after you set your Vyper to Nitrox, try playing with the Simulator function, you can make your dives to the Andria Doria while sitting in your living room.

This needs a little clarification. Before you can use SETDIVE > NITROX to select the %O2 and PO2, you have to put the computer in Nitrox mode. The Computer has three modes, Air, Nitrox, and Gauge. It's shipped in Air mode. In Air mode, the Nitrox choice in SETDIVE is not available.

To set Nitrox mode, you don't use SETDIVE, you use SETPREF > MODEL. After you have used this to select the Nitrox "model" == "Put it in Nitrox mode". then SETDIVE will display the Nitrox screen where you can set %O2 and PO2.

The "Model" is permanent until you change it to a different model yourself.
The %O2 will reset to 21% (air) after the No-Fly time counts to 0 at the end of a dive series.
