First time out at Lake Travis today. I did 4 dives with scubashawn - very fun. And it happened - I did it - I finally found that sweet spot called neutral buoyancy. Being a swimmer I had a distressing tendency to flail while diving. I never felt comfortable with my arms crossed across my chest. But today - I finally figured it out. It only took 25 dives, but I finally achieved that sweet spot between being weighted down and aired up. And I really did feel like a stone in the water. I could just hang, or go up, or move down, or go forward - ALL WITHOUT USING MY HANDS!!!!!!

I am just spinning out. I feel like a real diver now. I just had to share....

Nice accomplishment :)

Ehh ... I think I just need to find some gloves with webbed fingers to assist me in all that flailing about that I do :dork2:

Congrats on your dives!!! I look forward to meeting team-valkyry on a dive sometime.
